We collaborate closely with internal staff and external partners to establish effective
frameworks and procedures for contract management and compliance. Our approach
emphasizes implementing inclusivity standards, linking subcontractors to meaningful
opportunities, and providing tailored support to ensure their long-term success. This
includes areas such as labor compliance, subcontractor utilization, and maximizing the
positive impact of inclusive workforce and business practices.
As part of our engagement with the client, we assist in monitoring and enforcing the
implementation of the CIP Strategic Execution Plan. Our scope includes oversight of
labor compliance, prompt payment provisions, and DBE/SBE participation goals. We
develop and apply customized reporting tools and process improvement applications to
support compliance monitoring and accountability across CIP projects.
In addition, we lead the creation of training and workforce development pathway
programs designed to foster equitable economic growth and provide capacity-building
resources for small and disadvantaged businesses. We review and support the
development of technical RFP and RFQ documents to ensure full alignment with
prevailing wage laws, DBE/SBE requirements, and local and federal procurement
standards.
Our team serves as a vital bridge between LAWA’s Airport Development Group and the
Strategic Sourcing Division, coordinating procurement strategies, and advising on best
practices and lessons learned. We also prepare and submit reports to LAWA’s
Executive Team and stakeholders, providing clear insights into program progress and
compliance performance, with an emphasis on accountability and continuous
improvement.
